What is a multisyllable rhyme ?
Sorry if this is a newb question
What is a multisyllable rhyme
I have heard of it but don't know what it is
Can anybody give me examples
And break it down for me
Re: What is a multisyllable rhyme ?
It’s rhyming two or more syllables at a time.
Single syllable: cat / hat / mat / bat
Multisyllable: rhyme scheme / ice cream / nineteen / crime scene

I wake up early in the mornin', mind state so military
Suckers fantasizin' pictures of a young brother buried
Buried military early are these multis ?
Re: What is a multisyllable rhyme ?
Yeah, if you break it up into syllables you’ll see that the last two syllables rhyme (eg. the vowel sounds in the equivalent place are similar).
[mili]tar/ry
Bur/ried
I don’t think ‘early’ is, because the first syllable has a different vowel sound so doesn’t rhyme (in my English accent at least). The ‘ar’ in military and the ‘ur’ in buried are both sound close enough, (if pronounced like ‘air’), but the ‘ear’ in early sounds more like ‘urr’.

What about the second syllable in the word early
Doesn't it rhyme with the fourth syllable in the word military ?
Re: What is a multisyllable rhyme ?
Yeah, but it’s not a multi syllable rhyme as only one of its syllables rhymes with the other words.

Woah woah woah, the guy asked about syllables and not to be impregnated.

The second option presumably involves taking much less dick.

Ahh I see, so like a chain of single syllable rhymes? That’s rhyming one syllable with the next word and then taking a different syllable from that new word to rhyme with the one after it. That’s not what people usually mean when they say multisyllablic rhymes.
Here’s an example from a song by Rhyme Asylum:
Sole survivor of a dead chain gang, drag the other carcasses across the wasteland,
Next level, make a change to your game plan, my brain scan results are the same as the rainman.
And a more complex one from Jam Baxter:
It’s a leech in the beak of infinity
Reaping the sweetness of fleeting epiphany

Fastidious interest in syllable placement tends to be an effective contraceptive
Re: What is a multisyllable rhyme ?
When sperm smashes against a prostate, it usually doesn't lead to pregnancies.

Usually not, but I guess you were just born different
