There once was a man on the moon,
who's wildest dreams never came true.
He choked and braced
as he floats into outer space.
And Orion's belt became his noose.
Full moon again and we’ve been wondering...
If that man on that land can see us now
Does he play a part in all our suffering?
Or does he play violin when we are down?
He has stars all around to keep him company
Yet he won’t give us the brightest ones
Mr Moon can’t you see, you are full tonight?
Must be love in your heart that fills that hole
Use your light to erase all this mystery
And bring back to our heart what you stole
You are full
You’re complete
You are beautiful
We are half
We are hurt
We’re alone
Mr Moon can’t you see what you’ve done to us?
It’s not fair that we should feel this way
You’ll be sad
You’ll be sorry
You’ll need sympathy
When the half that you love goes away

in quiet contemplation I drift away
peering at the bigger picture from afar
my mind left cloudless
as I rest among the stars
in another space and of another time
I float in controlled splendor
grasping my soul and pulling it away
from the inner demons I leave back in my shell
This is life's truest form, forming meaning for it all
It's the answer for the reasons of the building of these walls
Worth the paint, not the painting, more the climb, not the fall
Right of reason rusts the right, religion reassures withdrawals
We are all one but many, but, many naïve
why would we exist if not meant to believe
emotionally we perceive what we see
when we simply refuse to retrieve energy
Frequency rattles matter, "Sama Veda", illustrator
past prophetic generator biological creator
multi universal labour life's a forceful instigator
radar races running riot feeding fear and fuelling failure
Is a saviour in our favour for the answer to our dues
Many million mindless mannequins are missing many clues
Is it you? Energy is the only thing to lose
Energy is in the stars and moon and god is merely me and you
when wonder waives penance & payment,
expertise laid to sleep at the frayed extent of its leash-
perhaps that is beauty.
the stars field a barrage of questions,
in line with an interrogation, ready,
and no words come to mind.
perhaps that is beauty.
then, we paused at a hillside to
watch the city retreat. flecks of dharma,
torches crashing towards the fortress casted for
the formal castle-born. ashes court the sea.
candles on the channel, chasms form a creek,
the television bleats a passion for cold receptions,
you hesitate- but i get the impression that
you would never leave.
for you, i would never connect the dots
I only stop by to look through you.

i apologize for looking straight through you.
sighs and skies, interspersed, shape an ancient tune
we reprise every time i seem to wait for news.

you were a drifter, star-gazer far greater than the sun of your

i'm grateful, too, if now only for the place we knew
where we could never evade the truth, despite
every tête-à-tête representing your face as new.
