    Poetry Cypher

Write a poem in the style chosen by the last person to post.

Since it's the first style of the One Flu Over The 'Ku tourney, let's start with..

    Westernized Haiku

If you don't know many ones to choose from, check this out. But don't go crazy and pick something too difficult.

I'm going with sonnet I got sidetracked and started writing so here it is.

A style of poem with rhymes or no rhymes, iconic.
Fourteen lines with on average thirteen syllables each.
A smile that's grown in a time of no times, find solace.
Sure seems fine when it happens, sure seems instantly free.
Divine in notions, arrive or don't arrive. Tossing..
core schemes by interacting, flirting with hidden dreams.
A winding road that I ride in overdrive conscious
Four wheels grind to the axles at a corn field in spring
While I'm flowin', provide for the bone-dry crop then
Restored ears, aligned captions, perfectly in the seams
The miles I've drove in my plight don't know why I've lost it
Floored feet find all the asses that cursed me when I'm weak
Revised the mold not the type to type some nonsense
Forums bring my inner passion thirsting to feast

I'll say (after another Google visit)
    Blank Verse
That's a non-rhyming poem almost always in iambic pentameter

Poetic indeed, I plant ideas in your head like I do with the seed
I get so high like I'm breathing in the smoke of the weed
sometimes I raise up my head and look up to the blue sky
and wonder why people have to grow old, suffer, and die
why try when in the end when it won't even matter?
we work so hard only to have our dreams battered and shattered
but the truth is whatever happens after death is a mystery
no one will ever know if it's heaven or eternal misery
so why worry about what happens tomorrow?
it will only worsens our fears and further our sorrows
it's best to just focus and live in the now
and try to get through the day somehow
tomorrow will come as sure as the sun rises
and we will face the future's challenges and surprises
listen closely, these are the pearly words of wisdom
they can open up the golden gates of God's Kingdom
