Seeing The Sea by Walking Keys and Soule'
Seeing The Sea
A Walking Keys and Soule' Original
The scent of the ocean adds meaning through the flow motion
Soft shallow waves welcoming me through the commotion
Shells lay out like doormats. A red carpet of soft sands
White caps clapping with washed hands, watching her accost lands
Crystal dolphins dance through a royal blue current,
leaping through invisible hoops as they elude the surface.
In the distance, there's an instance where Orca's hunt,
playing with their food like infants but it looks like an orchestra.
Depths of darkness knows no bounds
The breadth of the starfish knows no crowns
Crabs clawing for life, while the seahorse horses around
Down, down deep without a sound, what monsters could be found?
Eight legged and disguised, two hearts, twice the love,
the octopus climbs above a coral patch and bites a slug.
As a Great White approaches, a black cloud inflates,
what once laid, hopeless, creates a ruse to escape.
Raw power, but never desired
Sheer volume she’s cleverly hired
Soaking up sun rays, embracing sun sets
Calming on some days, the rest filled with regrets
She's cruel yet beautiful, a muse to most,
feared by others, but neither ghoul or ghost.
Her sapphire dress stretches coast to coast,
with a grave of captains who proposed.
