    I'm watching Ran right now. Such a beautiful movie. The cinematography, the storyline, the acting. I mean it delivers on so many fronts. The plot to this compels you to keep watching, just to see this poor man go through everything he did with his sons, a slow burn departure from his former glory, gradually being pushed out and relegated to discarded trash. And then the problem child shows up to his defense. I mean, this movie is like 2 hrs and 47 minutes long and it's pacing is absolutely perfect.
