im not taking ANYTHING from Meks on this one.i thought baggie/bag he was pretty dope. i think that multi-syllable rhymes can push a rhyme scheme or bar to the next level. but here i think you gave up a bit of substance for the sake of the flow, well only on 'gold for a stroke". that wording felt off for me. but i think the deciding factor for me was wording and how the bar(in this case the punchlines) read.i think with a bit of tweaking that bar would have read smoother. I have bag taking this was with a WP and a NP in the punch. both were solid and worked well together. as well as another WP in the setup. good battle gents

Felt both punches was very solid here. Meks I like the Baggie sold and smoked flip it was worded well imo Bag i fucked with Short on Time Meks bar good as a name flip was creative I think the set up and everything that u tied into the bar made it that much stronger wristwatch, our hands, minutes left.. feel like both had a good bar but ones set up and bar helped me choose the winner props to both here.

Initially I thought the beginning line was like a bit off and the multi rhymes wasn’t as appealing first read but half way I’m like wait I started over and read it how it should be read and I loved the wordplay the doubles and the homophones this is definitely what I love to see..
Ok so what I get from this bar is race against time theme - you two competing so you ordered some friends to stop the time cut the time however you wanna put it..
Then binex buy next by next timex time meks all good homophones and watch brands.. it came together well and I enjoyed the whole bar..

I’d be knit picking if I said you should have kept fucking out of that last line but that was the only word I felt was out of place. The punch was already hardbody but anyways
The fold and choke I loved the internal rhyme scheme and gold stroke but I just couldn’t really figure the use of gold and stroke I’m still wondering if anyone wanna inbox me so I can gain more on-site however the punch lands lovely with bag he gets fucking sold and then smoked.. I think a lil more wordplay maybe would have won me over but regardless dope battle

This was a good battle, honestly bags bar came off a little choppy to me with the wording but the wp n np in there still pulled u this win. It was a good bar, meks was cool to I just thought bags was more creative

Both was good.
This was a dope battle, Meks was more of a solid text bar this week and much more consince than the longer bars he’s been dropping. Bags was complex and dope but felt a bit choppy and seemed to take a while to read for two lines but was very creative
